Dave has an Information Security (INFOSEC) background, since he served in the US Air Force for 10 years, 11 months, and 9 days as a Communications/Computer Operator, specializing in Communications Security (COMSEC) for the last 7 years of his service. After departing his illustrious military career ::cough:: in May of 2000, he entered the civilian sector of the computer industry and currently is a UNIX (Linux) systems administrator. Info Security is never far from his mind, and he hopes to return to this field full time very soon as he is now studying to become a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
