Can I have a stick of PC gum?
Its not gum, so you shouldn’t chew it. Its a PC about the size of a pack of gum, manufactured by a company named — get this — gumstix. Ah, but which flavor? Linux, of course. The ones that are network-able are named “netstix”, and stand-alone models are named “waysmalls”.

In the 200MHz and 400MHz Intel XScale® PXA255 processor varieties with 64MB RAM and 16MB Flash memory (with optional Bluetooth) you won’t be the next Quake master or able to level up in World of Warcraft, but its smaller than any regular PC and able to run quite a few applications.
There is even a gumstix Software Development Kit, if you can’t find the applications you need from the pre-built binaries.
